Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Scientist to design and implement advanced analytical models and AI/ML solutions that support Navy Reserve readiness and operational optimization. You will lead analytics products and dashboards that translate complex data into actionable insights for executives and stakeholders.

Required are 4+ years in data analytics, strong Python/SQL/Jupyter/Databricks/R skills, and the ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (data science, stats, math, CS, OR, engineering).
• 4+ years building data analytics solutions, statistical models, ML, or analytics products.
• Experience with Python, SQL, Jupyter, Databricks, R for data prep, modeling, visualization.
• Ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement analytics models, forecasting, and AI/ML capabilities for Navy Reserve readiness and optimization.
• Lead data analytics products, dashboards, and visualizations for executives and stakeholders.
• Apply statistical methods, ML, data mining, and predictive modeling to identify risks and optimize resources.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and government partners to define requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations.
• Evaluate new analytics technologies and AI/ML capabilities to enhance enterprise data solutions.
