Overview

This is a full-time career opportunity that can be remote within the Fulton Bank footprint: DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA.

The Data Scientist will work on data-driven initiatives to develop and deploy solutions addressing business problems, strategy, and opportunities. Responsibilities include data analysis, deploying machine learning models, and communicating results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with business stakeholders on Data Science projects, exploring data and implementing methods to impact strategy and decision-making.
2. Extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources, deploying tools for large datasets and reporting.
3. Apply supervised and unsupervised learning methods to extract insights.
4. Serve as a data subject matter expert, improving data literacy within the organization.
5. Collaborate with data stakeholders for access and support.
6. Continuously seek industry best practices and skills development.

Additional Responsibilities

• Project management
• Utilize machine learning tools like TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn, etc., for business objectives.
• Mentor and support other data roles as needed.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in applied math, statistics, engineering, econometrics, or related field (required). Master's preferred.

Experience: 5+ years in data mining, deep learning, large datasets; 2+ years programming with Python or SAS; 2+ years with TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Keras, NLP libraries; experience with PowerBI, SQL, R (preferred).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of machine learning methods, cloud platforms (Azure/GCP/AWS), API utilization, communication skills.

Other Duties

This role may include other job duties as assigned, with compliance responsibilities.

Pay Transparency

Salary range: $96,800 - $161,300 annually. Compensation includes potential equity and incentive plans, based on experience and location.
