Job summary

KBR in the Virginia area is seeking a Data Scientist to join the National Security Solutions team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining analytic solutions using HPCC Systems (ECL) to process large datasets and deliver mission-critical insights for national security programs.

The candidate will leverage Python, R, Pig, Java, C, and SQL in distributed computing environments and must have 10+ years of relevant experience, including ECL usage.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph is required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data analytics.
• Minimum three years of experience using ECL within HPCC Systems.
• Demonstrated experience with data modeling and large-scale data analytics.
• Experience using Python, R, Pig, Java, C, or SQL for large-scale data processing.
• Experience developing, validating, and applying analytic methodologies in clustered computing environments.
• Experience working with distributed computing and high-volume datasets.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Basic Compensation

$177,200 to $216,500

This range is for the VA area only

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
