Spectrum, Charlotte-based, seeks a Data Scientist to design, develop, and maintain data analysis and visualizations supporting the audit plan. You will gather requirements, validate data, code extractions from Teradata/SQL/Oracle, and build dashboards with an emphasis on clear, actionable insights.
The role involves office-heavy work (four days in office, one day remote) and collaboration with the audit team to present deliverables and ensure data integrity.

The Data Scientist plays a key role in our data driven audits and is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of data analysis and visualizations to support the audit plan, including requirements gathering, data validation, analysis execution and results reporting using visualization tools. The position requires regular communication with the audit team to define requirements and present deliverables.
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Design and develop analytic solutions to support our audit plan, including but not limited to:
Identify risks and escape to management appropriately.
Participate in discussions and interface with various departments to research, define, and document requirements.
Proactively seek clarification of requirements and direction; takes responsibility when needed.
Executes special projects as needed and performs other duties as requested.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
