Job summary

Noblis ESI seeks an experienced Data Scientist to join our on-site team in Chantilly, VA. You will develop data-driven solutions using ML, statistics, and data mining to support Intelligence Community missions and collaborate across teams on model lifecycle management.

Responsibilities include designing and training ML models, handling large datasets, utilizing GPUs and cloud platforms, and communicating results with stakeholders using tools like Tableau.

Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience OR Associate's degree with 6 years of experience OR High School diploma/GED with 9 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in data science tools and technologies such as Python, SQL/PostgreSQL, Spark, and Git (NiFi is a plus).
  • Experience analyzing data in Python.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Experience or knowledge with machine learning, statistical modeling, and/or time-series forecasting.
  • Experience or knowledge working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience or knowledge working with open-source and classified datasets.
  • Demonstrated ability to clean, manage, and optimize large-scale datasets.
  • Fundamental understanding of a range of AI techniques and ability to match techniques to problems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Noblis ESI is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team on-site in Chantilly, VA.

As a Data Scientist, you will support Intelligence Community missions by developing data-driven solutions using machine learning, statistical analysis, and data mining. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply advanced analytics and AI, while also supporting model lifecycle management, including versioning and vulnerability identification.

Your work will directly contribute to capabilities such as knowledge management, data triage, search optimization, AI LLM Knowledge Bases, data visualization, and automated decision‑making. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing diverse data sets and applying data science techniques to solve customer problems, using technologies such as Python, SQL, R, Tableau, etc.

Compensation at Noblis

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
