Description

TITLE: Data Scientist

LOCATION: 7265 Windsor Boulevard, Suite 106, Windsor Mill, MD 21244

DUTIES:

• Research and analyze data to support CMS initiatives for healthcare price transparency.
• Create data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Human Centered Design Lead and other teams to gather and analyze data from various sources.
• Build predictive models, data visualizations, and AI tools for automation and analysis.
• Participate in agile development cycles, delivering incremental product features.
• Conduct data mining using advanced techniques such as clustering, classification, and regression.
• Enhance data collection and verify data integrity for analysis.
• Create automated anomaly detection systems and track their performance.
• Engage in product discussions to refine requirements and estimate user stories.
• This position is eligible for 100% remote work.

Qualifications

Education/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Data Science projects.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, R, and Jupyter notebooks.
• 3+ years experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, MS SQLServer).
• Experience with AWS SageMaker, S3, DynamoDB, RedShift, or RDS.
• Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning, NLP, and data visualization tools.
• At least 2 years experience leading data science teams.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

SALARY: $150,000 - $170,000 per year
