Job summary

Guidehouse Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist to support Federal clients from an onsite location in Arlington, VA. You will design and develop data science products and AI/ML models in cloud environments, applying strong technical skills and a mission-focused mindset.

You will use Python, SQL, LLMs, and platforms such as Databricks, Azure, and AWS to build solutions, translate findings to leadership, gather requirements from clients, and contribute to proposals and white papers.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Three (3) or more years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience connecting data sources and wrangling data using Python.
• Strong understanding of statistical and machine learning methods.
• Experience utilizing LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Experience developing and deploying AI/ML models using Python.
• Familiarity with Databricks for conducting data science.
• Experience performing data science in a cloud environment such as Azure or AWS.
• Ability to support remote, hybrid, or on-site projects in the Washington D.C. metro area.

Guidehouse Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist to support Federal clients from an onsite location in Arlington, VA. In this role, you will use technical data science expertise to design and develop data science products and solutions, including work involving LLMs and AI/ML models in cloud environments.

What you will do

• Use tools such as Python, SQL, LLMs, and platforms such as Databricks to develop data science products and solutions.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership, to translate technical findings.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements, adapt solutions to mission needs, and drive initiatives forward.

• Experience with RAG methods and development.
• Experience containerizing AI/ML models, such as with Docker.
• Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Experience developing data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience developing solutions involving APIs.
• Experience automating processes using Power Automate.
• Experience supporting Department of State or other Federal Government organizations.
