Deloitte GPS seeks an Analytics and Insights Engineer II to build and validate workforce models and support data-driven decision making across government populations. Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building, validating, or maintaining quantitative workforce, staffing, or resource models.
• 2+ years of experience applying advanced statistics in a professional setting, including regression analysis methods, model calibration, diagnostic testing, and interpretation of results.
• 2+ years of experience with machine learning models and feature engineering using structured data.
• 2+ years of experience programming in Python for statistical analysis, data preparation, and model development.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Active Secret or above security clearance required

Responsibilities

• Build and validate quantitative workforce models translating workload drivers into FTE requirements across populations.
• Analyze, clean, and prepare data from government personnel systems for modeling and planning.
• Perform feature engineering, regression model calibration, and plausibility banding to improve model accuracy and defensibility.
• Collaborate with Senior Data Scientists and AI engineers to integrate scenario-planning into front-end applications.
• Ensure model assumptions, calculations, and outputs are traceable and explainable for client validation review.
