Dell Technologies Services is seeking an Undergraduate Data Science Intern to join our Hopkinton, MA or Round Rock, TX teams. You will analyze data, build models, and contribute to growth through programming.

You will collaborate with a global data science community, complete projects across the 12-week program, and present insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BA/BS in CS/DS/Natural Sciences/Engineering or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to stakeholders
• Proficiency in Python or R and SQL
• Experience with data visualization libraries/tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib
• Comfort working with global teams across regions
• Solid skills to retrieve, process, and analyze data
• Passion for data visualization and storytelling with data

What you’ll achieve

As an Undergraduate Data Science intern, you will be responsible for analyzing data and driving growth through programming.

You will:

• Be a part of a large, passionate data science community that’s always sharing new learnings, best practices, and a helping hand.
• Work on projects ranging from basic effective methods to cutting-edge experimental methods
• Work alongside peers throughout our 12-week program
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s (BA or BS)program in Computer Science, Data Science, Natural Sciences, Engineering, or related field
• Excellent written communication, with a strong emphasis on verbal communication skillsand being able to present to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and database languages such as SQL
• Experience with visualization libraries and tools such as matplotlib, Tableau, or Power BIis a plus
• Must be comfortable working with global teams spread across multiple regions
• Solid programming skills to retrieve, process, and analyze data
• Passion for data visualization and communicating data stories

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this position is $18.00 hourly - $37.15 hourly depending on location.
