Liberty Mutual invites ambitious students to join the Data Science Summer Internship Program in Boston. This 11-week program focuses on GenAI, machine learning, and modeling techniques, with opportunities to research, analyze data, and build models that inform business decisions.

You’ll work independently and in teams to develop technical skills, gain business acumen, and potentially transition into full-time data science roles at our Boston Headquarters.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• 0-2 years of professional experience
• Intermediate experience with programming languages such as Python or R
• Foundational knowledge of statistical analysis concepts, techniques, and tools
• Demonstrated experience with exploratory data analysis, regression analysis, and model development and evaluation through coursework and/or internships
• Strong communication, analytical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
• Permanent work authorization in the United States
