Capital One in Plano, TX seeks a Manager, Data Scientist to lead pricing analytics and drive data-driven decision making. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers and product managers to deliver impactful solutions using Python, AWS, Spark, and open-source tools.

You will build models end-to-end, interpret results for business leaders, and mentor team members while applying statistical and ML techniques on massive datasets in a cloud environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field with related analytics experience.
• 10
• PhD in STEM fields and 3+ years in analytics is preferred.
• 4+ years of open-source languages for large-scale data analysis.
• Experience with ML and relational databases is required.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver a product customers love.
• Leverage Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark to uncover insights from large data assets.
• Build ML models from design through training, evaluation, validation and deployment.
• Translate complex work into tangible business goals for stakeholders.
