Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is seeking a Data Science Manager to lead a team of Data Scientists or Data Analysts and drive company-wide objectives through rigorous analytics.

You will conduct product analytics, identify root causes of metric movements, and design advanced analytical solutions to deliver measurable business outcomes that promote growth, safety, and a healthy ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full time experience working in an analytical role in a top tier social media or entertainment companies, including 2+ years as a people manager
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Math, Economics, or other science and engineering fields
• Experience with SQL, Python, or R
• Experience navigating and working with large data sets using SQL
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, learn autonomously, and highly organized
• Ability to conduct rigorous analysis and communicate conclusions to both technical and non-technical audience
• Knowledge of technical concepts such as Machine Learning, Causal Inference, and AI
• Experience in Livestream products
• Experience working with international partners in different time zones
• Passion for social technology products and a curiosity to learn & grow with a fast paced company
