Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Data Science Manager to support Consumer and Developer Experience (CDX) with a product-focused data science agenda. You will lead a cross-functional team and shape insights from vast numeric and textual data using Python, AWS, Spark, and open-source tools.

You will develop end-to-end ML solutions—from design and training to evaluation and deployment—while translating complex analyses into clear business outcomes, guiding product strategy and customer impact.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Partner with a cross-functional team of software engineers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure we are delivering products customers love that move the needle for the business.
• Leverage a broad stack of technologies - Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark, and more - to reveal the insights hidden within huge volumes of numeric and textual data.
• Build machine learning models through all phases of development, from design through training, evaluation, validation, and implementation.
• Flex your interpersonal skills to translate the complexity of your work into tangible business goals.
