Capital One is seeking a Data Science Manager to support Consumer and Developer Experience (CDX) as part of the CDX product strategy team. The role focuses on customer digital engagement, analytics, personalization, and risk management, blending strategy, product, and data science.

The ideal candidate will build models end-to-end, collaborate with engineers and product managers, and translate complex analyses into business outcomes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field plus 6 years of data analytics experience.
• Master's degree in a quantitative field or MBA with quantitative concentration plus 4 years of data analytics experience.
• PhD in a quantitative field plus 1 year of data analytics experience.
• At least 1 year of experience leveraging open source programming languages for large scale data analysis.
• At least 1 year of experience with machine learning.
• At least 1 year of experience utilizing relational databases.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver products customers love and move the business needle.
• Leverage tools like Python, Conda, AWS, Spark to reveal insights from large data volumes.
• Build machine learning models through design, training, evaluation, validation and implementation.
• Translate complex analysis into tangible business goals.
