Forsyth Barnes Consultancy seeks a seasoned Manager, Data Science to lead a Customer Data Science cadre for a retailer. The role blends strategic influence with hands-on delivery across predictive modeling and customer analytics.

You will own CLV, segmentation and models end-to-end, mentor the team, and partner with IT, data engineering, and marketing to drive revenue. Hybrid role based in Irving, TX with 3–4 on-site days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading data science teams.
• Retail or consumer analytics experience.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Expertise in CLV, segmentation, and predictive models.
• Excellent stakeholder communication.
• Hybrid role in Irving, TX with on-site days.

Responsibilities

• Direct and expand a data science team focused on customer analytics and predictive modeling.
• Collaborate with business leaders to translate analytics into revenue and engagement.
• Own CLV, segmentation, and predictive models end-to-end.
• Mentor team and foster scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Partner with IT, data engineering, and marketing for governance and model adoption.
• Communicate findings to senior stakeholders with business impact.
• Monitor AI/LLM advances and their relevance to customer analytics.
