Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree with at least 5 years of significant and relevant professional experience in a STEM field.
• Knowledge of the subject matter of Data Science and Analytics.
• Evidence of satisfactory achievement in previous academic work.
• Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to the educational goals of a multicultural population.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses effectively and maintain appropriate office hours in accordance with University Policy.
• Cooperate with the department in the peer-review process and seek guidance from the Department Chair for clarity on policies and practices.
• Organize classes within the Canvas LMS and ensure courses are offered and meet during the semester in the assigned mode (asynchronous, synchronous, bi-chronous, in-person, or hybrid).
• Be mindful of diverse student backgrounds and incorporate inclusive materials and teaching strategies.

Education
