Job summary

Jobtailor in Framingham, MA is seeking a driven Data Science co-op to help build regression models, manipulate data, and deliver insights to senior leadership to support profitable sales strategies.

You will work on projects involving sales forecasting, personalization, store profitability, and A/B testing, creating dashboards for multiple business groups and collaborating with partners.

Qualifications

• Current student eligible for an intermediate or advanced co-op.
• Data Science major preferred; consideration may also be given to Computer Science, Mathematics, or another related major.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Experience with SQL Server.
• Experience with Python or another programming language.
• Experience with regression, significance testing, and multivariate analysis.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, be proactive, and remain flexible.
• Ability to think creatively and solve problems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to adjust direction under changing business conditions and needs.
