Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Data Science preferred; terminal degrees in closely aligned fields will also be considered.
• ABD will be considered and, if selected, will be appointed at the rank of Instructor.
• Fields may include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, Applied/Computational Mathematics or Statistics.

Responsibilities

• Teach Data Science and Math courses (24 units/year).
• Provide academic instruction and create assignments for diverse settings.
• Observe and evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate records and submit grades/ reports on time.
• Teach and hold office hours on campus, at least 4 days per week.
