Job summary

Generac in Wisconsin is seeking a Data Science Analyst for an onsite role at our Waukesha headquarters. You will join the Data Analytics and BI team to develop data models, pipelines, and insights that drive Enterprise Transformation and AI use cases.

The role requires SQL, data visualization, and Python or R skills, plus strong communication to present findings to executive audiences; you will clean data, query sources, and build repeatable analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree and 1 year work experience in Math, Statistics, or Computer Science.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL queries.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools (MatLab, MiniTab, SPSS, or R).
• Experience with Python or SQL for analytics.
• Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS).
• Experience building agents or copilots is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze data to support Enterprise Transformation initiatives and AI use cases.
• Prepare data by cleaning and consolidating data from multiple sources.
• Translate business requirements into data needs and collection methods.
• Create data models, pipelines, and algorithms to produce insights.
• Query, merge, and extract data across sources; refresh data regularly.
• Document processes, support end-users, and report on progress.
