Our client is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist who thrives at the intersection of computational science, data analysis, and business strategy. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong foundation in predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and software development, especially in Python. The successful candidate will translate complex datasets into actionable business insights, develop models that guide decision-making, and effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences alike.

The ideal candidate combines technical acumen with business intuition, driving impact across teams through data-driven recommendations and end-to-end model deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define key questions, translate them into analytical problems, and prioritize data initiatives.
• Extract, clean, and manipulate data from varied sources using SQL and Python.
• Develop and implement predictive and prescriptive models using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Build clear and impactful data visualizations to present findings to business and technical partners.
• Support end-to-end model lifecycle - from development through to deployment - within a modern cloud ecosystem.
• Participate in project planning, aligning data initiatives with broader business objectives.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools, technologies, and practices to enhance modeling and data pipeline performance.
  
  

Top Skills And Experience (Required)

• Master's degree (or higher) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation
• Hands-on experience in Python (including Pandas and NumPy) for statistical computing and model development
• Solid understanding and application of machine learning/statistical methods, such as:
• Logistic Regression
• Time Series Analysis
• Generalized Linear Models (GLMs)
• Mixed Models
• Gradient-Boosted Trees
• Random Forests
• Neural Networks
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, statsmodels)

• Experience deploying models using CI/CD pipelines

• Understanding of cash flow analysis and its strategic implications in business decision-making
