Job summary

The Vanguard Group’s Technology Leadership Program (TLP) in the Data Scientist track offers hands-on rotation across data science, analytics, and engineering to build leadership and technical depth. Participants apply machine learning, statistical modeling, and AI to real business problems while collaborating with engineers and business partners.

Through three rotations, you’ll develop analytical depth, leadership capabilities, and influence decisions by translating insights into business

Qualifications

• Master’s, MBA, or equivalent advanced degree.
• Strong interest in ML, AI, and analytics.
• Experience with Python or SQL and modeling tools.
• Proven leadership potential and ownership.
• GPA 3.2+ preferred.
• Special Factors: Vanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply ML models and advanced statistical techniques.
• Work with large data sets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities.
• Design experiments, build predictive and prescriptive models, and support model validation efforts.
• Translate business problems into analytical approaches and deliver solutions from concept to implementation.
• Partner with data, engineering, and business teams to drive data-informed decision‑making.
• Communicate complex analytical findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Take ownership of projects and contribute to delivering high‑impact outcomes.
• Collaborate across teams, share insights, and influence strategic decisions.
