National Indemnity Company is seeking a Data Reporting Developer to build data reports and applications, validate data feeds, and ensure data integrity. The role is based in Omaha, NE with a hybrid work arrangement (50% in the office).

Responsibilities include vetting colleagues' work, collaborating with business partners, and actively participating in Agile ceremonies. The ideal candidate will diagnose ETL slowdowns and suggest improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, data science, business analytics, MIS, mathematics, or related field.
• Experience with database manipulation software or software application development (e.g., .NET, SQL, Python).
• Fundamental knowledge of SQL.

• Vet and validate the work of other data reporting developers to ensure data integrity.
• Interact with business partners outside of the group and maintain good relationships.

• Identify slow processes and potential issues with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and make suggestions for improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, data science, business analytics, MIS, mathematics, or related field.
• Database manipulation software and/or software application development experience (ex. .NET, SQL, Python, etc.).
• Fundamental knowledge of SQL.
• One or more years of related work experience.
