The role emphasizes data accuracy, developing standard report formats, writing queries, analyzing trends, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Statistics, Human Resources, or a related field; 7 years of professional data reporting experience.
• Three years of work experience in data reporting (not data entry).
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of data analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy of operating records/databases.
• Identify processes lacking completeness, detail, or accuracy.
• Design standard report formats based on organizational needs.
• Retrieve and summarize data from information systems for research or operating reports.
• Write queries in the appropriate reporting language.
• Review monthly operating statistics and prepare operating reports.
• Lead or mentor lower-level staff in high-level tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
