Job summary

The University of Houston is seeking a Manager, Data Reporting and Accreditation in the Bauer College of Business to work with the Director of Data Reporting and Accreditation. You will prepare and maintain documentation for periodic accreditation reviews, compile data for college rankings, and respond to internal data requests from faculty and staff.

The role sits within the academic effectiveness team and focuses on data management, reporting, and survey coordination across university offices.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree from a college or university or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of directly job-related experience
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables for data reporting
• Experience with Tableau for data reporting and visualization
• Experience in higher education and assurance of learning activities
• Experience in project management

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of a large university program or department, supervising staff and student workers
• Plans and develops procedures for administering a large or complex department or program
• Manages fiscal activities, including procurement and budget analysis
• Provides guidance to subordinate staff and evaluates performance
• Prepares abstracts, research reports, funding proposals, operations and procedure manuals
• Creates and reviews reports of expenditures and activities
• May administer grants and related communications, scholarships and other operations
• Develops and maintains policies and procedures
• Interacts with various university offices to coordinate data reporting for rankings and accreditation
• Executes assessment processes and maintains institutional effectiveness plans
• Collects data, coordinates with departments, analyzes data, and prepares reports
