Job summary

Cahaba Medical Care Foundation is seeking a data management professional to support its clinical quality assurance/quality improvement program. You will work under the direction of the CQO to collect, audit, and verify data across office locations, and perform follow-ups by phone to schedule appointments and update records.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent customer service as you coordinate data with providers, staff, and patients to drive QA/QI improvements.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Athena EMR strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Apps.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform chart audits, run reports and update registries that help facilitate the program data management process and achieve improvement in QA/QI measures
• Collect required data and information from providers, other staff, and patients in order to ensure accuracy and completeness in patient charts
• Review for completeness; follow up where necessary. Perform quality assessment of the data collected; follow up when indicated.
• Work with staff at all office locations to facilitate data collection, verification and entry
• Perform patient follow up by phone call in order to schedule appointments and gather or update information
