Job summary

Cahaba Medical Care Foundation in Centreville, AL seeks a Data Entry Clerk to support the clinical quality assurance/quality improvement program under the CQO. This is a full-time clerical role focused on accurate data management across care locations.

You will perform chart audits, run reports, update registries, collect data from providers and staff, and ensure completeness and accuracy of patient charts to drive QA/QI improvements.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Athena EMR is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Apps.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform chart audits, run reports and update registries that help QA/QI efforts.
• Collect required data from providers, staff, and patients to ensure chart accuracy and completeness.
• Review for completeness and follow up as needed; assess data quality.
• Collaborate with staff across locations to facilitate data collection, verification and entry.
• Perform patient follow-up by phone to schedule appointments and gather information.
