Qualifikationen

• Associate's or Technical Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Health Information Management.
• Two years of experience in quality management, data abstraction, or healthcare analytics.
• Three years of experience in peer review, abstraction, quality assurance, or hospital data reporting.
• RN license or equivalent health background (preferred).
• CPHQ or CPPS certification required.

Aufgaben

• Performs concurrent and retrospective chart abstraction for peer review, quality, and regulatory reporting using defined criteria.
• Performs case abstraction for assigned registries and CMS IOR/QOR measures; collaborates with registry vendors and quality teams.
• Acts as a liaison between the Quality Department, clinical stakeholders, and registry partners; provides feedback on documentation gaps.
• Maintains confidentiality under state and federal peer review protections; ensures compliant data collection and storage.
• Monitors data trends to identify improvement opportunities and supports performance improvement teams with validated data.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
