This position can work remotely in the United States.

What is this role about?

The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for identifying, acquiring, qualifying, analyzing, and distributing data in support of McGraw‑Hill’s evolving operations. This individual works closely with multiple business and technical teams and will be reporting to the Manager of System's Integration & Testing. The ideal candidate should thrive with limited direction and have a solution‑driven, technical & customer service mindset with the ability to multi‑task and work agilely within tight deadlines.

What can you expect from this position?
  • Create and maintain queries, data sets, and analysis to monitor operations and performance
  • Perform ad‑hoc / non‑repetitive data analysis to support fact‑based, decision‑making efforts
  • Define standards and coordinate research and analysis activities across business teams to leverage effort as well as ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Provide a high level of support to internal customers
  • Process data requests and item application changes as necessary
  • Utilize ad‑hoc reporting using Electronic Data Warehouse applications, Oracle and SQL queries
We're looking for someone with:
  • Bachelors or advanced college degree in a related field such as business or technology required
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including: Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience creating databases and queries using SQL
  • Alteryx and Tableau experience is a plus

The pay range for this position is between $50,000 - $60,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act.
