Job summary

Collective Insights is seeking a Data Protection Consultant to configure, implement, and support enterprise data protection solutions across Information Protection, DLP, Insider Risk, eDiscovery/Records, and DSPM. You will apply deep expertise in Microsoft Purview (primary), Varonis, and Proofpoint to deliver secure and compliant environments that protect sensitive data.

Bring 3–6+ years in cybersecurity/data protection and hands-on experience with Purview, Varonis, or Proofpoint; Bachelor's

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years in cybersecurity/data protection roles with hands-on with Purview, Varonis, or Proofpoint
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (MBA preferred)
• Hands-on implementation of Purview (DLP, Insider Risk, eDiscovery/Records) and familiarity with Varonis and Proofpoint DLP/ITM
• Strong consulting/core delivery skills: communicating technical details to clients and documenting findings
• Certifications preferred: Microsoft SC-400, SC-200; vendor certifications for Varonis and Proofpoint

Responsibilities

• Configure Purview sensitivity labels, DLP policies, insider risk policies, and eDiscovery workflows
• Deploy Varonis for unstructured data discovery and remediation
• Configure Proofpoint DLP and Insider Threat modules for email and endpoint coverage
• Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshoot incidents
• Deliver training, demos, and technical workshops
• Produce runbooks, test cases, and configuration documentation
• Optimize DLP/IRM/eDiscovery policies and monitor data risks
