Job summary

University of Denver - College of Professional Studies seeks a student employee to support the DataInsights & Operations Team, helping collect, manipulate and analyze data; use AI tools to assist workflows; learn Tableau to compile reports and dashboards.

Flexible hours; 2 hours weekly in University Hall; federal work-study eligibility; pay $20 per hour with potential increases based on performance; HFWA leave accrual; duties include supporting in-person courses/events and other related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, manipulate and analyze data to support the DataInsights & Operations Team.
  • Use AI tools to assist operations workflows and data processing.
  • Learn to utilize Tableau visualizations to compile reports and modify dashboards.
  • Audit and edit syllabus data and Canvas course containers.
  • Support in-person courses and events at the College of Professional Studies and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Current DU undergraduate or graduate student enrolled for the 2026-2027academic year, located in the Denver area

You must have a work study award in order to apply.

Hours/Location

Flexible hours

2 hours per week in office (University Hall), at a time of your choosing

This position is eligible for a federal work-study, which requires eligibility through the Financial Aid Office.

Students will be paid $20.00hr with the opportunity for yearly increases, dependent on performance.

In compliance with Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), non-benefited employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.

  • Open-office environment.
  • Unexpected interruptions often occur, and stress level is moderate to high.
  • Noise level is quiet to moderate.
Physical Activities
  • Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extended period.
  • Occasionally required to move about the office/campus
  • Capability of transporting objects up to 20 lbs.
