Job summary

Evidence Action is seeking a data-driven analyst to support the India Safe Water program and ISW activities from our Washington, DC office. You will conduct analyses to estimate unmet needs, build dashboards, and track cost-effectiveness measures for program decisions.

You will collaborate with international teams, support donor engagement, and help prepare strategic materials that articulate ISW's theory of change and impact, including in-person coordination across offices in India.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in international development or similar.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including data analysis and cost-effectiveness.
  • Experience building dashboards or data visualizations to communicate findings.
  • Experience supporting donor engagement or grant-related work.
  • Ability to generate high-quality content for cross-cultural audiences.
  • Ability to manage complex, interdependent workplans and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Analytical Support (50%) — Conduct analyses across the India context estimating unmet need, ISW-addressable market, and scenario planning for future programs.
  • Develop data visualizations to communicate ISW impact to diverse audiences.
  • Support development and tracking of cost-effectiveness measures for policy engagement.
  • Project Management (30%) — Track progress on theories of change and coordinate with cross-cutting teams to advance objectives.
  • Surge Support (20%) — Provide on-demand support for India-based Safe Water team, including in-person collaboration in Delhi or state offices; align actions with National team decisions and validate data.
