Base pay range
$23.00/hr - $24.00/hr
Brief Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Read and follow complex job processing instructions.
- Plan and execute a data processing workflow.
- Receive, analyze and manipulate data using third-party and in-house software.
- Work with data in a variety of formats including Access, Excel, comma-delimited, xml and fixed length.
- Write scripts using C++ syntax to perform data transformations.
- Create digital layouts for variable data printing in Quadient Inspire Designer.
- Prepare files for output to a wide range of printing devices.
- Perform quality assurance checks for all work.
- Work closely with the customer service team and production staff.
- Serve as technical support for all projects worked on.
- Stay current with regulations pertaining to the printing and mailing industry.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
- Proficiency working in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Intrinsically motivated and have a strong commitment to quality.
- Ability to plan and prioritize projects.
- Ability to work alone as well as in a team environment.
- Experience with VB.Net, C# or C++.
- Experience with Anchor Software or Quadient Inspire is a plus.
- Ability to be present and available at the scheduled times and location as outlined in the work schedule.
Summary
Data Programmer works with large datasets to analyze, plan, and execute complex processing workflows. The role focuses on creating end-to-end solutions for data transformations and largescale production preparation. This includes variable layouts and digital document composition.
