Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to lead strategy, discovery, development, and delivery of enterprise data products. This role drives 0-to-1 product innovation by turning ambiguous opportunities into scalable, data-driven solutions that create measurable business value.

The candidate will work with data scientists, engineers, and architects to deliver innovative products that support enterprise objectives, leveraging AI technologies and data platforms.

Qualifications

  • Define and execute a data product strategy aligned with enterprise goals.
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps responsive to business priorities and user feedback.
  • Identify opportunities for data-driven products through research and trends.
  • Lead 0-to-1 product ideation and structured concept development.
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to refine requirements.
  • Conduct user interviews and market research to validate concepts.
  • Develop mockups, wireframes, and prototypes for rapid testing.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to embed AI capabilities into products.
  • Oversee data migration and integration using Databricks, AWS Glue, DMS.

We are seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to lead the strategy, discovery, development, and delivery of enterprise data products. This individual will play a key role within the Data Office, driving 0-to-1 product innovation by transforming ambiguous business opportunities into scalable, data-driven solutions that create measurable business value.

The ideal candidate combines strong product management experience with technical expertise in data platforms, AI technologies, and stakeholder engagement. They will work cross-functionally with business leaders, data scientists, engineers, and architects to deliver innovative products that support enterprise objectives.

Skills and Requirements

  • Define and execute a data product strategy aligned with enterprise and Data Office goals.

  • Create and maintain product roadmaps that evolve based on business priorities and user feedback.

  • Identify new opportunities for data-driven products through research, analysis, and emerging technology trends.

  • Lead 0-to-1 product ideation efforts, turning undefined problems into structured product concepts.

  • Facilitate workshops and design sessions with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.

  • Conduct user interviews, surveys, and market research to validate product concepts.

  • Develop mockups, wireframes, and low-fidelity prototypes for rapid testing and feedback.

  • Design and deliver functional prototypes that demonstrate business value and reduce investment risk.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to incorporate AI, machine learning, and generative AI capabilities into products.

  • Lead the development of AI agents, including defining objectives, integrations, orchestration, and success criteria.

  • Establish prototype evaluation metrics and drive the transition from pilot to production.

  • Oversee data migration and integration efforts using tools such as Databricks, AWS Glue, DMS, or similar technologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field.

  • 6-10+ years of experience in Product Management, Data Products, Digital Products, or related roles.

  • Proven experience leading product discovery and 0-to-1 product development initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of data platforms, enterprise data architecture, and data lifecycle management.

  • Experience working with AI/ML technologies, Generative AI, LLMs, or AI-enabled product solutions.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. - Master's degree in a related analytical or technical field.

  • Experience with Databricks, AWS Glue, DMS, or similar data engineering/migration platforms.

  • Experience with M365 solutions including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform.

  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, and Confluence.

  • Knowledge of IT governance, financial forecasting, strategic planning, and product P&L management.
