Job summary

UL Solutions in Chicago, IL is seeking a senior leader to build and coach a team of Data Product Owners, guiding the end-to-end data product portfolio from vision to delivery. You will align enterprise priorities with product roadmaps and ensure measurable business impact across global stakeholders.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, governance, and analytics to translate business needs into actionable backlogs, establish success metrics, and drive adoption.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data/analytics or product management delivering data products.
• 3+ years of people leadership managing product owners, analysts, or data professionals.
• Proven data product strategy, roadmaps, and prioritization aligned to business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Product Owners responsible for data products.
• Define and oversee the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products with business/IT leaders.
• Ensure roadmaps align with enterprise priorities and business strategy.
• Guide teams translating business needs into capabilities, release plans, and priorities.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand priorities and opportunities for new data products.
• Oversee the data product portfolio including intake, prioritization, and investment planning.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, analytics, and governance to align requirements.
• Maintain high-quality backlogs, business cases, and success metrics.
• Remove barriers and resolve cross-functional issues impacting delivery and value.
• Define and monitor adoption, impact, usability, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
