Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Manager, Data Product Management – Governance to lead governance for data products across the organization. You will define ownership, stewardship, and metadata standards, and ensure catalog entries are accurate and searchable.

Responsibilities include collaborating with technology, data engineering, privacy, legal, regulatory, and business teams to translate outcomes into clear requirements, documentation, and adoption playbooks that maximize business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in data product governance, data stewardship, analytics, or enterprise data enablement.
• Regulated environment experience appreciated (MedTech/healthcare/pharma).
• Familiarity with data catalogs, glossaries, metadata management, and data quality practices.
• Ability to document requirements and deliverables for technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Data Product Governance: support definition and implementation of governance practices, including ownership, stewardship, controls, metadata expectations, and lifecycle management.
• Business Requirements & Product Enablement: partner with business teams to collect, clarify, and prioritize data product needs.
• Translate business outcomes into requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery-ready documentation for technical teams.
• Catalog, Glossary & Metadata Management: maintain and improve business glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata standards, and ensure catalog entries are searchable, understandable, and consistently defined.
• Data Quality & Stewardship: coordinate with data owners/stewards to define data quality expectations.
• Multi-functional Partnership: collaborate with technology, data engineering, architecture, privacy, legal, regulatory, and records management partners.
• Operating Model & Adoption: support repeatable processes, playbooks, governance forums, and communications to improve and sustain business value.
