Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Product Owner to collaborate with Product, Data Science and Engineering to define and develop data products for drug discovery and preclinical research.

You will gather and prioritize requirements from scientific stakeholders, act as the user champion, and translate complex problems into actionable backlog items while steering agile teams to deliver impactful data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in a life sciences or engineering field.
• 2+ years building tools or data assets for scientific analytics.
• 3+ years working with scientific users to define data product requirements.
• Data analytics/science experience with AWS data services and SQL.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop data products for drug discovery and preclinical research.
• Gather and prioritize product requirements with scientific stakeholders; define/refine the product backlog and user stories.
• Serve as user expert and customer champion; translate problems into actionable requirements.
• Justify improvements to existing products; analyze data to inform strategy.
• Act as Product Owner on Agile teams; accept user stories against acceptance criteria.
• Plan/design testing; compile training content for scientific end-users.
