Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a US Remote based Data Processing Associate to join its Invitae Genetics team. You will perform pre-accessioning and order processing, enter data into Invitae systems, and ensure quality control to meet SLAs.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in healthcare or data processing, strong data entry skills, and experience with Salesforce or JIRA. A dedicated home workspace with reliable internet is required and a Monday–Saturday schedule may apply.

• Strong data entry, typing, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-Accessioning Order Processing activities as directed by team lead.
• Create orders and tasks for customer support with accuracy.
• Meet established SLAs and OKRs.
• Enter data into Invitae systems and perform quality control.
• Coordinate with Accessioning and Client Services teams as needed.

Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5:30pm, Pacific Time Zone. During Training for about 3 months: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, Pacific Time Zone.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-Accessioning Order Processing activities as directed by team lead including but not limited to: Patient creation
• Order creation
• Task creation for customer support teams (kit requests, missing information)
• Meet established SLAs and OKRs
• Post-accessioning Order Processing activities as directed by team lead including but not limited to: Data Entry of order information into Invitae systems
• Quality control of previously entered information into Invitae systems
• Task creation for customer support teams (kit requests, missing information)
• Communication with our Accessioning and Client Services teams as needed
• Meet established SLAs and OKRs

Additional Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 or more years’ experience in healthcare, science, data processing, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 or more years’ experience working in a genetic testing clinical laboratory
• 1 or more years’ experience working in a collaborative team environment
• Current or prior Invitae experience
• 1 or more years’ experience working in a metric/volume driven role

Additional Job Standards

• Strong data entry and typing skills
• High level attention to detail with ability to problem solve
• Flexibility and ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities quickly
• Experience or knowledge of genetic testing or related field
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Experienced in managing multiple applications, using two monitors, with strong organizational skills
• Proficiency with Salesforce, JIRA, or similar CRM/ticketing platforms
• Quiet, dedicated, distraction-free work from home space
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• Proficiency with remote collaboration
