Job summary

Equifax, Inc. is seeking a Data Privacy Lead (Finance) to provide critical privacy expertise across the enterprise and to operationalize the privacy program. You will partner with diverse teams, manage priorities, and ensure privacy is embedded in new initiatives while maturing the program.

You will lead PIAs, monitor GDPR/CCPA, and drive privacy controls, with strong collaboration to inform, educate, and protect sensitive data assets across business units.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of data privacy experience, with 5+ years preferred, in financial services or FinTech.
• Strong knowledge of privacy policies, PETs, and privacy control frameworks.
• Experience interpreting privacy laws and conducting PIAs across cloud environments.
• Proven project management and ability to manage multiple complex projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to influence both technical and non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Embed privacy in strategic initiatives during design and execution.
• Support implementation, monitoring, and testing of global privacy controls.
• Develop and maintain privacy policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct privacy impact assessments on applications, products, and processes.
• Monitor GDPR, CCPA/CPRA to update the program.
• Enable responsible AI use through governance processes.
• Deliver privacy training and awareness materials.
• Respond to inquiries from business units, customers, or regulators.
• Manage privacy program metrics and reporting to Senior Leadership.
