Job summary

American International Group (AIG) seeks a detail-oriented Data Privacy professional to strengthen governance, manage privacy risk and promote best practices across the business. The role collaborates with Legal and Compliance to support regulatory requirements and protect customer trust.

Responsibilities include advising on privacy risks, updating policies, and coordinating investigations. The ideal candidate has five years of privacy experience with IAPP certifications preferred and strong

Qualifications

• At least five years of privacy experience in a corporate setting.
• IAPP certifications preferred (CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM).
• Experience working with diverse teams across the Americas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance to business units on Privacy program risks.
• Maintain current knowledge of Americas privacy laws and regulations and implement updates to policies.
• Participate in AIG’s Privacy Governance structure and privacy-related activities.
• Develop and review privacy training content for the organization.
• Coordinate eDiscovery and other forensic investigations; assist PRI responses.
• Support legal and compliance actions before new technology implementations.
