Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services is seeking a senior privacy program manager to develop, implement, and govern the enterprise privacy and governance program, aligning regulatory requirements with business objectives.

You will lead privacy operations, coordinate with AI governance, manage data classification, incident response, and notices, and advise stakeholders on risk and compliance across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, law, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in privacy, data governance, or related field.
• Experience with GDPR, U.S. state privacy laws, AI governance, cookie and consent management, security incident response, enterprise platforms, data inventories, DPIAs, data classification, sensitive data handling, retention, and governance models.
• Experience with privacy management, GRC, consent management, data discovery, data catalog, or workflow tools such as OneTrust, Osano, TrustArc, BigID, Securiti, or similar.
• IAPP certifications or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation, and administration of the enterprise privacy and governance program, including privacy operations, regulatory compliance, risk assessments, data governance, policy management, and stakeholder advisory support.
• Perform GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, U.S. state privacy laws, and other applicable privacy requirements, including turning obligations into policies, procedures, assessments, documentation, training, and guidance.
• Serve as the privacy representative for new and existing business, technology, data, vendor, and AI initiatives, advising on privacy-by-design and data minimization.
• Conduct and support Privacy Impact Assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments, and related privacy risk reviews.
• Collaborate with AI Center of Excellence and governance forums on AI risk, privacy reviews, and inventory of tools, data inputs, and use cases.
• Maintain governance of cookie banners, consent tools, and website privacy notices.
• Review and update privacy notices, disclosures, and transparency materials; ensure consistency across notices and inventories.
• Develop data classification standards and provide guidance on minimization, retention, access, and secure handling of sensitive data.
• Manage and support data subject rights requests, intake, routing, responses, and process improvements.
• Work on privacy review of security incidents involving personal data, including element assessment and remediation.
• Maintain incident timelines, logs, evidence, and updates to incident response playbooks.
• Respond to questionnaires related to privacy, data protection, and AI controls.
• Support governance of enterprise platforms (Box, Dropbox, ChatGPT, Google Drive, SharePoint, Salesforce, etc.).
• Coordinate annual review of privacy policies, procedures, and guidance documents.
• Create and deliver privacy and governance training materials and campaigns.
• Track training completion and effectiveness, reporting, and improvements.
• Participate in governance forums and the Annual Privacy Summit.
