Job Title - Data Privacy Engineer

Location - Remote (United States)

Role Type - Contract (6 months)

Must Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience as a Data Privacy Engineer
• Proficiency with Securiti.ai and OneTrust platforms
• Experience serving as a Privacy Engineering SME
• Strong working knowledge of major privacy regulations, including:
• CPRA
• CCPA
• GDPR
• U.S. state-level and federal privacy laws
• Familiarity with privacy tools such as BigID

Responsibilities and Job Details:

• Serve as the Privacy Engineering Subject Matter Expert, guiding implementations and platform usage
• Configure and administer privacy platforms such as Securiti.ai and OneTrust
• Interpret and apply complex privacy regulations across state, federal, and international domains
• Collaborate closely with legal, security, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment
• Support privacy compliance operations, including data mapping, assessments, and automation of privacy workflows
• Provide tool-level support and advisory for platforms like BigID
• Deliver practical, implementation-level privacy solutions for real-time business needs
• Contribute to privacy-related technical architecture and process improvement
• Work in a full-time, 40-hour/week capacity for the duration of the 6-month contract
• Begin engagement within 2 weeks of the offer, or no later than 1 month from the offer
• Undergo interview screening by a senior privacy leader with 25+ years of experience in the field
