Advocates Legal Recruiting represents an AmLaw 100 client seeking a Data Privacy Cyber Transactions Associate (Mid-Level) in Washington state. You’ll work on headline M&A, capital markets, and strategic tech deals, spanning AI/ML, cloud, fintech, and enterprise software, sitting at the intersection of data regulation and innovation.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years’ experience in deal-focused work, a strong grasp of privacy and cybersecurity frameworks (CIPP certification a plus), and excellent

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in M&A, tech transactions, capital markets, or other deal-focused work.
Strong understanding of privacy and cybersecurity frameworks (CIPP certification is a plus).
Familiarity with the regulatory landscape and enforcement trends.
Excellent academic credentials and sharp interpersonal and drafting skills.

Responsibilities

Advise on the full spectrum of privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity issues in complex corporate and technology transactions.
Support M&A, capital markets, and commercial deals from diligence to close, providing strategic counsel to public and private companies.
Work cross-functionally with top-tier attorneys across practices.
