Job Description

Be Part Of A High-Performing Team

Join an enterprise data and analytics organization building a more centralized and scalable approach to administering its cloud-based data ecosystem. The environment includes modern analytics, data warehouse, governance, transformation, and business intelligence technologies. This role will become the primary administrator across these platforms, taking ownership of responsibilities currently distributed among developers, technical leads, and managers while partnering closely with existing platform experts to learn the broader ecosystem.

What's In Store For You

  • Permanent direct-hire opportunity with long-term ownership of an enterprise data-platform environment.
  • Hybrid schedule with 4 days per week onsite in SouthPark, Charlotte, NC.
  • Opportunity to become the centralized administrator for a broad portfolio of modern cloud data technologies.
  • Work directly with experienced developers, data professionals, and technical leaders who currently support these systems.
  • Expand beyond your strongest platform by learning additional technologies through hands‑on knowledge transfer.
  • Opportunity to help modernize administrative processes through automation and AI‑assisted workflows.
  • Standard business‑hours schedule with only occasional off‑hours support for significant service disruptions.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Become the primary administrator for enterprise cloud data and analytics platforms including Sigma, Snowflake, Tableau, Alteryx, Alation, dbt, Palantir, and related technologies.
  • Manage users, roles, permissions, security configurations, databases, schemas, workspaces, and platform access.

  • Support the growing adoption of Sigma and the continued administration of a significant Snowflake environment.
  • Use SQL to support platform provisioning, access administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Apply Python and other automation approaches to streamline repetitive administrative tasks.
  • Explore opportunities to automate provisioning and platform‑management workflows using modern tooling and AI‑assisted technologies.
  • Learn additional platforms from existing administrators and progressively expand ownership across the environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for platform administration while coordinating with established backup administrators.
