Job summary

Gravity IT Resources is seeking a Data Platform Product Manager for a hybrid, contract-to-hire role in the Columbus, OH area. The candidate will bridge business, technology, and data to shape the data platform roadmap and drive enterprise initiatives.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to understand needs, define requirements, and guide solutions across data platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with data and data platforms in healthcare environments.
• Experience in product management, business analysis, or project management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to define objectives and requirements for data platform initiatives.
• Gather and analyze business and data requirements, rules, processes, and sources.
• Translate needs into clear requirements and priorities for technical teams.
• Help define and maintain roadmaps for enterprise data platforms and related capabilities.
• Support design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of data-focused systems.
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives with multiple teams and dependencies.
• Facilitate solution discussions with business partners, technical teams, and leadership.
• Bridge customers, development and data teams, and organizational leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, platform capabilities, data quality, and UX.
• Communicate status, risks, dependencies, data issues, and priorities to stakeholders.
• Support issue resolution involving systems, processes, data quality and integrity.
• Develop relationships across technical and non-technical teams to drive initiatives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
• Support change management related to new platforms and processes.

Job Title: Data Platform Product Manager

Role Overview:
You will support enterprise data and data platform initiatives at our client. This role connects business, technology, and data, working with stakeholders and technical teams to understand needs, define requirements, guide solutions, and shape the data platform roadmap. You should have a strong background in product management, business or systems analysis, and project leadership, with meaningful experience in data and data platforms. You must be comfortable navigating complex technical environments, managing multiple priorities, and communicating with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand needs, define objectives, and establish requirements for data platform initiatives.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, data requirements, business rules, processes, and data sources.

• Support the design, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing improvement of data-focused systems and solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with data and data platforms in a healthcare environment.
• Experience in product management, business analysis, systems analysis, project management, or related disciplines.
• Experience supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems and business processes.
• Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading complex solution discussions and communicating with stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, organizational, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple complex initiatives and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
