Job summary

Referment is seeking a Product Manager to lead the data infrastructure behind people analytics. You will connect human-capital, analytics and engineering teams to shape secure data products for reporting, BI and new generative-AI use cases.

The role is technical, covering schemas, ETL, APIs and delivery. You will translate stakeholder needs into precise requirements and stay involved through development, testing, rollout and operational support.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of product-management experience in data or analytics products.
• Strong Excel, SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with ETL, BI infrastructure, APIs and data modelling.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Generative-AI infrastructure experience (vector databases, RAG or semantic search) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design ETL transformations and data models.
• Shape an API layer with centralized business logic and contracts for downstream consumers.
• Develop product direction for natural-language querying, semantic search and agentic workflows.
• Partner with reporting specialists, developers and data scientists to define technical solutions and requirements.
• Manage backlog, sprint planning, stakeholder relationships and rollout of changes across the data platform.
