Job summary

Simplot is seeking a Data Platform Manager to lead the Data Platform portfolio and guide the Data Engineering team across architecture, strategy, and delivery. You will shape the platform roadmap, oversee lifecycle management, and partner with the broader Technology & Data Science organization to provide reliable reporting and analytics solutions.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in data engineering or product management, strong Azure/Databricks experience, and a proven ability to drive

Qualifications

• 8+ years related experience and/or training.
• Experience in product management with ability to manage all aspects of a product lifecycle.
• Strong technical background in data engineering, cloud services, and data platforms (Databricks) and BI platforms (PowerBI).
• Travel may be periodically required (up to 25%).
• Based onsite at Simplot HQ in Boise, ID.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of the Data Platform portfolio of work.
• Set architectural direction and engineering patterns for the team.
• Develop a multi‑quarter product roadmap for data platforms.
