Data Platform Engineering Manager (Remote)

We are seeking a Manager of Data Platforms at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield to lead the daily operations, support, and administration of our enterprise data platform ecosystem, including integration & ETL management. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of our data systems, including integration pipelines, data warehouses, data governance, and MDM tooling. The candidate will collaborate with data engineering, data governance, IT, and business leaders to align data platforms with organizational goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Defining and implementing data operations and platform roadmaps aligned with corporate strategy.
• Overseeing administration of data platforms such as Informatica and Azure ADF, ensuring effective integration.
• Monitoring platform performance and addressing issues proactively.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data platform needs are met.
• Driving innovation and efficiency in data platform processes.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of data and platform engineers.
• Staying current with emerging data integration tools and best practices.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
