Job summary

Confluence Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for the Data Team to build and evolve the data API backend, focusing on reliability and scale.

You will migrate legacy logic from stored procedures to Python, work with SQL Server, Snowflake, and SQLAlchemy, and collaborate across the data platform.

This role requires strong data-engineering skills, remote-friendly US location, and a chance to shape the next-gen data platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 3 years of software development experience.
• Strong Python backend (3.12+), FastAPI, Pydantic v2, async/await, and T-SQL.
• Expert SQL Server data engineering: parameterized queries, indexing, ETL, large-dataset performance.
• Experience with Snowflake and SQLAlchemy-based integration behind a unified API.
