Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years building data pipelines, streaming systems, or backend data infra.
• Strong production Python and SQL experience.
• Experience with high-throughput ingestion and time-series storage in distributed systems.
• Experience with on-premise, 24/7 deployments in safety-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-throughput data pipelines for sensor telemetry.
• Design time-series storage and historians for long-term retention and query performance.
• Build ingestion and streaming services with buffering, backpressure, idempotency, and no data loss.
• Define architecture, schema standards, testing strategies, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with controls, test automation, and visualization teams for analytics and dashboards.
• Lead debugging and reliability improvements across the ingestion-to-storage stack.
