Job summary

Harley Ellis Devereaux (HED) seeks a Data Platform Developer to build, evaluate, and enhance AI-enabled capabilities supporting our people and practice. You will work on a modern lakehouse built on Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog, linking business systems to trusted analytics.

This role is an individual contributor with ownership of production pipelines, platform health, data documentation, and continuous improvement, partnering with analysts and data owners to enable reliable data

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and supporting production data pipelines on a cloud data platform (Databricks/Snowflake/Fabric/Synapse/BigQuery).
• Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with Spark or similar framework.
• Experience troubleshooting production jobs and data backfills; incident response.

Responsibilities

• Develop, operate, and improve ingestion and transformation pipelines across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
• Administer and improve the Databricks environment and Unity Catalog governance.
• Maintain version-controlled configurations and deployment workflows; resolve environment gaps.
